Today I had waves of emotions, joy, love, pride, irritation, annoyed, laughing, anger, and crying. With all that said, I am grateful for this day and all the blessings that came my way. This picture is part of my laughing and joy of the day, Orion and Sirius, my daughter’s sugar gliders. They are six months old and love playing and jumping on me like a tree.

Also here is my moment of pride. My stepson and daughter shoveling the neighbors sidewalk and driveway and me stalking their progress upstairs.

Let’s jump into reasons why I am grateful. Just a reminder I say my list out loud and with my mind at the same time while laughing and staying in a state of joy for everything I am grateful for. I know I am repetitive, but I always feel I’m sending out my energy to everyone/thing I write/type down. When I’m saying my thank you’s I vision the person I just explained why I am grateful for and try to look at them as I say thank you. Just letting you know what I do. You can do you.

I am so blessed and happy for being a mom because of how I get to love, help, and be there for my kids, and for all the laughs I get to have, even if it’s about farts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With all my heart, thank you for Jon because of his love for me and our family, for being an outstanding dad, and for always supporting me and my highest good. Also, thanks for putting my kick wheel together! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly grateful for my parents and Jon’s parents because of all the continual love and support, for all the memories old and new, and for all the great laughs. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am very thankful for all the trees because of their marvelous stillness and for cleaning our air, water, and soil. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly grateful for seeing beaches because of the vastness of the ocean or lake and for reminding me to go with the flow and rest when needed to. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly grateful for our home because it keeps my family safe and warm and for letting friends and family gather, I love hosting. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so lucky and fortunate to be able to write, draw, create because it brings me joy and lets me share that joy with others. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am happy and blessed for Jon’s dream job because he loves working with his best friends, Bobby, Cole, and Noah, and for the abundance of joy and money it brings his way. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly thankful for our abundance of money because it allows us to pay our bills and much much more and lets my family take vacations together. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am grateful and blessed for our boat because I love swimming, feeling the wind in my hair, and watching my family fish or tube while I get to write or illustrate. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With all my heart, thank you Universe for guiding me, for always having my back, for joyful surprises, for unexpected money, and for all the love you give to everyone in the whole world. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so grateful for this day because of my family’s health and for the laughter that filled up my house and car, and for my kids listening to me, and helping me clean today. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Today my hands are not working, I’ve been croqueting myself a scarf and that apparently makes it so I can’t control my handwriting. But with all that said, I am grateful that my hands are still working, I wrote out what I am grateful for, I can type this out, and that they’ll be greater tomorrow.

I hope you find some magic in your day, I did a couple times. Talking to my best friend realizing certain things that came my way. Also, catching myself a couple of times being in a state of disappointment from being “the enforcer” at my house. It’s wearing, but I am grateful to be shaping these teens, to have time with them, and to help them get their homework done.
