Day 14 of 28

(Gratitude challenge halfway point!)

“When you stop looking at the world through a lens of your past, you’ll find how fresh and wondrous the Universe truly is.”
Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle Deck.

For making today magical, I had a lot to be grateful for before I did it. I was grateful before dropping off my stepson to school- he was ready and even brushed his teeth! I did the same for Aurora’s dentist and doctors appointment- they went well too, no long waits. I was hoping Aidan didn’t have homework, he did. But he only had three problems, he didn’t finish in class. And he took notes!!! I was truly happy for him. I had a pretty magical day.

Here’s my gratitude journal below.

For day 15, it’s about a tough relationship you have. Someone who you wished you connected with or healed with forgiveness. You write down ten reasons why you’re grateful for that person. I’m going to pick my brother tomorrow. For example, I would write how I am grateful for his artist eye and for him being able to show the world his art. I am grateful for Kelly because of how in our childhood we could play and imagine together for hours at a time.

You want to focus all your attention on all the parts you miss and love about that person. I think in either case you end up sending a lot of love and light energy. I hope when I am fully in the feeling of gratefulness, he’ll feel it and be a little lighter because of it.

Alright, have a magical day!

Day 13 of 28 gratitude challenge

(Also day 43 of 365.)

The sunrise this morning with Venus.
“A voyage of the heart and soul is ahead.”
Sacred Forest Oracle Deck
by Denise Linn.

I wrote in my gratitude journal earlier today because the sun spoke to me. It’s down below.

I had a good day today. I visualized while waiting for my kids in my Jeep. I am grateful for my vehicle for getting me to and from places.

My current transport, the heat is broken. So, I was visualizing one with heat. More specifically, when we got the Jeep later on we bought our first boat. It was an old boat, but still was fast. When we were first driving the Jeep, I remember grabbing my husband’s hand and saying, “I feel like we’ve leveled up.” Then again we felt the same way when we were able to pull our boat with the Jeep. That memory with the emotion of gratitude is what I did today.

For tomorrow, Day 14 (also known as the midpoint of this 28 day challenge!), it’s all about having a magical day. To think through your plans and say thank you before doing the arrand, or chore. Whatever it is you have planned for the day, before you do it think about how grateful it went and say thank you.

For example, tomorrow I have to make sandwiches for my husband and my oldest boys because they’re working an hour away. So when I wake up and be grateful this task only takes a couple minutes. Then I have to pick up Aidan and drive him to school. So, I am going to be grateful for him being ready in the morning and waiting for me for the pickup. Thank you! After that I have to wake up Aurora and take her to the orthodontist to get a scan and fix her button chain. Thank you for that being easy and effortless! There’s an example of my morning. So when I wake up I’ll take a minute or two and be grateful for everything going so well and easily. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have a soul touching hug kind of day today!

Day 12 of 28

(Gratitude challenge inside a gratitude challenge? Yes! Also day 42 of 365 ✨)

“Stand strong in your truth.” & “Replenish your own resources.”
Sacred Forest Oracle Deck by Denise Linn.

Today I sat down and thought of people who have inspired me to be who I am today. I really honed in on people I know who have passed on. I spoke out loud to my grandparents on both sides, and even grandma Syl, my uncle’s mom. I spoke to two of my aunts who have passed and my husband’s stepdad who passed. I never met him or my grandma on my dad’s side. But I still had reasons to be grateful for them and I let them know like I was straight up talking to them. I cried a lot, but I am happy to talk to them, letting them know how they’ve impacted my life for the better.

Here’s my gratitude journal for the day. I’ve been croqueting all day today. Naturally, I only wrote down five today.

Tomorrow’s practice, day 13, is writing down things you desire and pretending like you already got them. What I like to think, it’s a visualization practice. Visualize receiving something you desire, write it down like you’re being grateful for it, and say thank you three times before and after. I like to think about how my body would react, how the sun feels on my face when I hear the news. Details like that. Last year my husband would find me visualizing and ask me what I was doing? I would say I’m imagining laying in our boat and letting the waves crush into to it, how the radio is barely on, and the sun is kissing my skin. He instantly got down on the floor with me, held my hand and visualized it with me. So, let your imagination take over for tomorrow. Dare to daydream!

Have a fantastical day!

Day 11 of 28

41 grateful days of gratitude journaling total✨

I had a busy day, slightly off. With that said I am grateful for breathing because it’s one of the truest forms of magic. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I held my gratitude rocks all day and every time I thought of something to be grateful for I grabbed them and closed my eyes and stood in stillness. It felt good. I started by being fragile for the sunny for peering through my window to wake me up.

Day 12 is about reflecting on three people who have changed your life for the better. 3 influences, mentors, or personal hero’s that impacted you. Write down why you’re grateful for them.

I hope you have a magical night!

Day 10 of 28

Gratitude challenge

“Your family has your back.”
Denise Linn’s Scared Forest Oracle Deck

To be honest, I am tired and have been all day. I still got things done, but I did take a long nap. I am grateful I was able to take a nap because of mid-winter break and my kids being teens- fend for themselves. I am grateful I shoveled some light snow earlier and was able to do my neighbor’s house too. I am blessed to make my family some healthy meals today. Most of all I am grateful I was able to take today easier because of hearing news of my dad. Which is most likely the reason I am tired. And that’s okay. I blessed some cars with magic dust on the way to and from my daughter’s set crew. Besides that I was mostly inside.

Here’s my journal from today. It’s simple today but I still mean every word.

Oh and for day 11, it’s just waking up and trying to be grateful for every since thing you see. For instance this morning, the sun woke me up from our window at 7:30, I am grateful for the way I woke up and feeling the warmth of the sun on my face. Thank you. And do it for everything, your slippers, or clothes, to your shower and soap, to your coffee and cream, to you floors and feet. Just keep it up for the day.

I hope you have a magical day today!

Day 9 of 28

Gratitude challenge.

Here’s my gratitude journal for today. My day was alright, couldn’t help but notice the news. With that said, I know I still have lots to be grateful for. Citrus love, I am grateful for my husband’s silliness and inviting citrus love today.

Here’s the oracle card that popped out, it’s fitting with today’s challenge.

“This card can be a wonderful sign that abundance and sweet energy is coming your way.”
Scared Forest Oracle Deck by Denise Linn

Tomorrow, day 10, is about visualizing you have a magic wand and that you can bless people you meet throughout the day with your magic dust. If you see your mail lady or man, magic dust them with gratitude of bringing you your mail daily. See someone at the grocery store and dust them with gratitude either an out loud thank you or one in your head and visualize the magic falling upon them. Rhonda suggests doing it to ten people if you can. Since the pandemic makes it harder to see people I suggest trying it out on three people. Sometimes I’ll do it to random cars as I’m driving. Just a thought.

I hope your night glitters like snow’s magic does!

Day 8 of 28

gratitude challenge within a challenge.. so also day 38 of 365.

“Life goes in cycles.” &
“In stillness your power emerges.”
Sacred Forest Oracle Deck from Denise Linn.

I had a really amazing day full off all the emotions, but with joy the most I felt. I forgot couple of times to think about my food before I ate it. But I did remember at least half way through and would think with gratitude how thankful I was to taste such love in food form. She suggest redoing this teaching if you forgot throughout the day. I feel like I was present fifty percent, so with that said I’m going to redo today’s thoughts on food and be more present tomorrow with it. I will also do her money challenge for tomorrow too.

But first, here’s my gratitude journal.

Okay, for tomorrow the focus is being grateful for money.

From Rhonda Byrne’s “The Magic”

Here’s the mission for tomorrow. I had a full loving day, but I am tired and ready for my bed. For I am grateful my bed magically heals me during my sleep and makes me feel refreshed in the morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have the most wonderful day ever!

Day 7 of 28

On going gratitude challenge!

“Your family has your back.”
Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle Deck

Today was a little crazy. I had moments happened to me today, that were extremely lucky. First I was cutting a sub for my daughter and I and the knife broke in half. Secondly, I went to unplug a stain glass grinder and a lamp plug let me hold an electric surge of red-orange light and I was able to move all the card board and paper out of the way so a fire didn’t start. I had a small square burn left in my hand. It was truly a crazy experience. Here’s a picture of the knife and the lamp plug.

With that said after they happened I reflected on how grateful I am to be lucky I didn’t get seriously injured. How I feel truly blessed to have some ancestors and angels watching over me.

I did pretty good with turning any negative thoughts to positive ones today. When I did say something bad I reflected on what I was happy about in the given situation. Felt pretty good.

Here’s my gratitude journal for the day

Day 8 is all about being grateful for your food. Think about every aspect of how the food got to your table. The farmer who raised the chicken and plucked the egg, the truck driver who brought your eggs to your grocery store, the grocery store for selling the egg to you. Think of the whole process of all the ingredients and be grateful for how they come into your life. Also, when you make yourself something to eat, sprinkle a little magic on it. Pretend, like a kid that you can sprinkle gratitude onto your food and your families food and bring a little magic into the day.

Have a glorious night!

Day 6 of 28

Gratitude Journaling Challenge Day 6

“When this card chooses you,
you are at the advent of remarkable time of ease,
wisdom, healing, joy, and inspiration.”
The Sacred Forest Oracle Deck by Denise Linn.

Today was a really great day for me. I reminded myself to be grateful for my job throughout the day, it helped me stay in the feeling of gratitude for a long time. I just wrote out my gratitude journal, right after I asked for an oracle card, and now I’m typing. I had a lot of fun with the kids over the sleepover. I educated my friend Ayla on who Jim Carey is by watching Liar, Liar. My favorite part of my day today was having my whole family under one roof during lunch. It’s my favorite when everyone is together.

Here’s my journal for today.

For day 7, it’s all about noticing negative thoughts. Generally, we don’t notice what we’re saying or thinking a negative thought fully. I at least know, I don’t notice it from time to time. So, just for tomorrow pay attention and try not to say anything negative. If and when you catch yourself from saying one or thinking it, simply state “But I have to say that I am really grateful for____”

Rhonda Byrne on chapter seven of “The Magic”, also suggests writing out ten reasons you’re grateful for something you’d like to change in your life. If you don’t have a job, write ten reasons why that’s alright and it’s helping you towards getting a job. If you have a bad relationship with someone, point out all the reasons why that’s helped you or events that happened in the past that we’re happy about that person.

I hope you have one of the best days ever today!

Day 5 of 28

Christmas cactus bloomed today

I had an alright day, some ups, some downs. I am grateful to host a sleepover at my house because of watching movies from my childhood with them, hearing them laughing, playing with games, hide and seek, and making food for everyone. That was fantastic. I had to speak a truth that I knew would hurt a close relationship of mine, but I felt I needed to because I could feel my energy shift with them. It’s something I’ll be reflecting on for a while to figure out why. My husband came home from working up north. I am grateful for his love and how happy he is to see me. My Oracle card I pulled before typing tonight is below.

“Stark honesty is called for at this time in your life.”
“”Miracles follow when you take the time to be genuine.”
by Denise Linn Scared Forest Oracle

Here’s my gratitude journal for today. I did it in the morning before everyone woke up.

Here’s my note I put in my kitchen for the day. I spent the morning after my journalling thinking about all what my parents provided for me during my childhood and thinking how grateful I am for the shampoo they made sure I had; or the birthday presents, the campground weekends, the sports I got to play, and how I always had a roof over my head.

These daily exercises are just to let you think about different parts of your life to be grateful for, and focus your attention to one aspect daily.

Day six is about your career or work you do. Rhonda suggests on this day to pretend you have an invisible manager following you around, writing down in a notebook everything you’re grateful for about your current job. She said if you’re a stay at home mom, say what you’re grateful for during the day taking care of your family. Have your invisible manager take notes during the day by saying “I’m so grateful for____” and she’ll keep score throughout the day.

Have a magical day!
